My love for all things handmade and the color red began as a little girl, making Valentine’s with my mom. She started me on this love affair with paper and delicate Victorian scraps. My collection began to grow and so did my quest for everything Victorian.

The color red became my insignia after my infant daughter would follow me around the room with her eyes, delighting in my red dress. I then began to craft more and more cards and roses. They filled my home and all the homes of my friends and family, and until finally, in 2003, one of my cards graced a page of Somerset Studio magazine. Little did I know that this experience would open a whole new door for me to the online crafting and art communities.
